We would love to help host a birthday party to celebrate the book lover in your life!
Each party includes party decorations, story time and activities, and a dedicated bookseller/party planner to make sure everything runs smoothly. And we have party favors covered - every guest receives a $5 gift certificate (to be used on their next visit). If you’d like to add to the experience you can upgrade your package to include a book for each guest and we’ll throw in a 25% discount. Because, you know, books and kids and all that good stuff.
Our birthday parties are for children aged four and up. Is your booklover a teen, or even (gasp) an adult? No worries, we can cater the event to be fun for all sorts of book lovers.
The standard package is for up to ten guests, including the birthday bookworm. Additional children are $15 each (younger siblings of the birthday child are free to attend at no additional cost). The standard cost (without upgrades or extra guests) is $250.
We can create a completely customizable experience to suit your child’s literary interests. We will schedule an appointment to meet and discuss exactly what kind of party you are looking for. Our trusty party planners have lots of ideas!
Because we want the birthday bookworm to feel special, parties are only available on Sunday evenings, from 5:30-7:00pm, after the shop is closed to the public. That way the place is yours to enjoy to the full.
A non-refundable 50% deposit is required at the time of booking to reserve your spot. The remaining balance is due at the party. You are responsible for bringing any cake, food, drinks (and supplies like plates, cups, etc.) and any balloons that you’d like.
