Our priority is to keep both you and our team safe and healthy!
Appointments are for 30 minutes, although it’s fine if they run a bit long. You may bring one other person with you to browse. Please enter the names of you and your companion on the form. At this stage, we welcome children aged 10 and up as this second guest. Those wearing infants count as a single guest.
Hand sanitizer will be provided. Please use some before you start to browse.
To keep both you and our booksellers safe, wearing masks is mandatory while you are in the shop. If you feel uncomfortable wearing a mask, we will find another way to help you find the books you’re looking for!
We understand that part of the pleasure in browsing is picking books up, reading the back, and flipping through the pages. If you pick up a book and decide not to purchase it, please do not put it back on the shelf. Instead, place on the tray by the register so that we can quarantine them until they are safe to handle. If you prefer, we are happy to handle the books for you.
We sanitize all high-touch areas regularly throughout the day and always between customers.
As much as possible, please try to stay 6 feet apart from our booksellers at all times.
We would prefer it if you used a credit card or check rather than cash.
If you are feeling unwell or are otherwise exhibiting any COVID-19 symptoms or you recently have been in contact with someone who has, please do not come into the shop. Call and we’ll reschedule!
If a customer does not observe any of these rules, we reserve the right to ask them to leave immediately.
