I suppose we should all be grateful that the “Mystery and Suspense” fiction section in the shop is significantly larger than our “True Crime” section - although both have their enthusiastic patrons. I’m more of a make-it-up-why-don’t-ya kind of guy, but I recognize that there’s something uniquely gripping about nonfiction accounts of horrendous crimes. That old saying that you couldn’t make it up? Sometimes, unfortunately, you don’t need to. Come and join us for lunch on Wednesday, October 2, for a deliciously grizzly Lit Lunch, when Carol will lead an informal discussion about some of her favorite true crime books of the past several years. Bring your lunch (assuming you’ll still have an appetite.)
Here’s where you’re going to find news about the wonderful authors that we’ll be bringing to Columbia. We already have a few events confirmed for the fall. Unless otherwise noted, all events are open to the public and completely free to attend (although we really hope you’ll buy a signed copy of the book!)
Check back here regularly for updates about more events.
