We are excited to announce that we will be bringing back our weekly storytime programming at Skylark Bookshop!  This programming will be led by a new addition to our Skylark team, Maile.  Maile has been an educator for 6 years working as a general education elementary teacher as well as an instructional specialist, where she focused on reading intervention for 1st-5th grade students as well as coaching her colleagues in literacy practices and teaching.  She is passionate about children’s literacy and believes that listening to a story is one of the most magical experiences we can share.

Our first storytime will be on Saturday August 20. We’ll choose 1-2 children’s picture books to be read aloud each week in the store.  This program will continue to be free and open to the public.  When you attend storytime, you will also receive a 10% off coupon to spend in Skylark Bookshop that day.  Keep an eye out for announcements about our special guest readers in the community.  We can’t wait to see you all at storytime again!
